Ardgour & Kingairloch with Strontian with Morvern

Meet Donald

On 9th April 2011, The Reverend Donald McCorkindale was inducted as minister of the parishes of Ardgour & Kingairloch, Strontian and Morvern.  Donald was minister in Dalgety Bay, Fife where he had been for almost 11 years; prior to that he was in Bonnybridge near Falkirk.  He is married to Lesley - they have two boys, Ross and Kyle, and daughter Sophie was born not long after they arrived here! Donald is very much enjoying his first year here, and is getting to know folk around the churches and communities.  As a member of the Church of Scotland’s Ministries Council, he is well aware of the challenges facing the Kirk as it seeks to reach and influence all parts of Scotland, and beyond, in engaging relevant ways.

Additionally, Donald works as one of the Chaplains to the Rev David Arnott in his year as Moderator of the General Assembly which began in May 2012.
